"I like this song a lot, and uh, I don't know how to play it too well. The way I thought it was when I
heard it that, uh, 'Television could either break up a boy and a girl or bring them together.' So... I
didn't know which one it was."

True to the disclaimer, Jack White's lyrics deviate considerably from the Waxwings' (not always for
the worse). The chordal structure begins to disintegrate near the bridge.

That's the point of view that's vanishing my love for the screen
                                             RIFF E5
And the first rays, yeah, stagger in through a sawdust haze

The television, it gives off the illusion that you're gonna stay here with me

VERSE 2:
Your angel's arms, they couldn't, couldn't get very far
That's sure not fun, that's a war I couldn't seem to have won
You're on the blink, yeah, movin' without electricity
It doesn't start to sink in, but it's picking up velocity

CHORUS:
The moon that rose has a glow, it's flashin' light on a road
And you're stealin' fire everywhere that you go, oh, oh oh, ohh oh, oh yeah

BRIDGE:

You're not too broken up, you're not too broken, oh yeah
     A5 B5 F#5
And I can't seem to point to exactly what his would be
          B5 A5 B5
It's just... just a fragile girl, dippin' in this 'lectricity
                                              RIFF E5
And that's my point of view, movin' with much velocity

CHORUS:
Oh, well, the moon that rose has a glow, it's flashing light on a road
And you're stealin' fire everywhere that you go, oh oh ohh
Yeah, you're stealin' fire everywhere that you go, oh, oh oh, ohh oh, oh yeah
